David D Delaney, Jr.

David Dennis DeLaney, Jr, age 83, of Auburn, New York, passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, with his wife by his side.

A Funeral Mass will be held in Auburn, New York, burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in New York.

David was born in Auburn, New York on July 22, 1934, to the late David and Helen Dugan DeLaney.  He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy DeLaney; children, Albert Joseph DeLaney (Julie), Michael Peter DeLaney both of Florida, Dr. Joseph William DeLaney (Mary Kathleen) of New York, Elaine Elizabeth Waldschmidt of Pennsylvania; sisters, Linda Nettie and Denise Sanders both of New York; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
