Jimmy Howard Ring

Jimmy Howard Ring, age 70, of Vass, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2017, at his home.

A Celebration of  Life will be held on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bill Davis and Pastor Trey Majure officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Jimmy was born in Vass, North Carolina on January 30, 1947 to Bundy Allen and Gladys Wallace Ring.  He spent his working career as a carpenter.  He was an avid Duke and NASCAR fan.  He will be greatly missed.

His is survived by his sisters, Doris Whitaker (Gene) of Vass and Betty Womble; brothers, Ronnie Ring (Miriam) of Vass and Lloyd Ring (Vickie) of Vass.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bundy Allen and Gladys Wallace Ring; sister, Carolyn Blue; brother, Clarence Allen Ring.
