Margaret Joanne Edwards

Margaret Joanne Edwards, age 74, of Vass, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at her home, with her family by her side.

Margaret was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on November 8, 1942 to Claude Scott and Hazel Patton. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Marie Schofield of Carthage, Ralph Woods III of Georgia, Hazel Woods of South Carolina, Janet VanCamp of Vass and David Woods of Vass, Elizabeth Woods also of Vass; step-daughter, Michelle Tyner of South Carolina; sister, Irene Donahue of Maryland; brother, Fred Patton of Maryland; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Scott and Hazel Patton; sisters, Janice and Patricia; brothers, Donnie and Gene.

A private service will be held at the home.
