Welcome to the memorial page for

Belinda Daniel Trumbo

March 2, 1949 ~ July 22, 2017 (age 68) 68 Years Old

Belinda Daniel Trumbo died early Saturday morning, July 22nd at the FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, NC at the age of 68.  She was born in March of 1949 in Oneida, KY to Ray and Velma Daniel.  Her battle with pancreatic cancer was brief, and she has heard Jesus say to her perfectly and finally, "you are freed!" (Luke 13:12).

A Service of Celebration will be held at Christ Community Church (220 Campground Rd., West End, NC  27376) on Sunday, July 30th at 3:00 pm - all are invited.

She loves Jesus.  And she loves him now more than ever as she now knows fully even as she is fully known (1 Cor. 13:12).  She loved prayer.  If she knew you then she talked to you about Jesus, and she talked to Jesus about you.  The seed that she has sown on this earth will reap a harvest 100 fold.

She lives through her family.  Preceded in glory by her Mother and Father, she is survived by her five older brothers and sisters (Jean Daniel, Dorsey Daniel, Bess Biason, Ronnie Daniel, Gary Daniel).  She is survived by her husband of 43 years Michael - they met on a blind date and were engaged two weeks later.  Her three sons - "You've never seen three boys love their mom like these boys" - and daughters  (Ryan and Lacey, Jared and Chyloe, and Chad and Molly) gave her ten grandchildren (Keegan, Jake, Ainsley, Reese, Reid, Jane Dare, Beckett, Saely, Nash, and Fitz) who she loved and served even to her last breath.

She had style.  She started three shops from scratch and took over another (Goose & Gander, The Briar, Pennington's - all in Prescott, AZ, and Matilda Charlotte - Newark, OH).  She used her style to run businesses, and her businesses to love people.  She even joked that she wasn't going to have a mansion in heaven, just a cute farmhouse, but lots of people who did have mansions would need help decorating them.

In true Belinda fashion, she didn't want flowers for herself, but instead requested that in lieu of flowers a gift be sent in her honor to support her friend Michelle Crotts, missionary in Honduras, International Teams, 411 West River Rd., Elgin, IL 60123, Designate it for Michelle Crotts or visit https://give.iteams.us/30US0715.

Condolences may be sent to www.coxmemorialfuneralhome.com.
