Betty "Toot" Barber Wilson

Betty “Toot” Barber Wilson, age 70, of Carthage, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017 at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by her family.

Toot was born in Sanford, North Carolina on February 28, 1947 to Norman and Thelma Barber.  She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Wilson and wife Susan of Florida, Kenneth Wilson and wife Cheryl of Tennessee; brother, Norman “Smoke” Barber of Carthage; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Thelma Barber; sister, Shirley Hinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FirstHealth Hospice House, 251 Campground Road, West End, 27376.
