Jimmie was one of the hardest working men I have ever known, and he was an excellent farmer. Deepest sympathy to the family.

Jimmie was a nice neighbor he always came around and mowed for me he knew I had a sick husband ! He was a caring man always wanting to be helpful! Once I told him “Jimmie you have worked hard all your life you should be sitting on a beach somewhere resting “ he replied “I’m a farmer and I want to work till I die” Farming made him happy! Rest In Peace Jimmie and thank you for helping me my friend!

We are sending condolences to Helen and all the family. We are very sorry to hear of Jimmie's passing. He was a good friend of ours. Jimmie farmed the land in front of our house on Lamms Grove Road for many years. I know all of you will miss him. I think Jimmie was a friend to everyone in Moore County. Most everyone knew him. I'm sure he will be greatly missed. May God comfort each of you in these difficult days ahead. God Bless!! Sincerely, Jack and Joan Oakley
