Ty L. Bell

Ty L. Bell, age 26, of Georgia, formerly of Sanford, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2017.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Full Military Honors will follow the service.

Ty was born in Sanford, North Carolina on February 27, 1991 to Sarat Bell and Angela Driggers. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy. He enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, boating, he loved being in the water and especially enjoyed spending time teasing family and friends.

Ty is survived by his mother, Angela Driggers and husband Jerry of Sanford; father, Sarat Bell and wife Thanitsita of Cameron; sisters, Asia Holder, husband Clint and daughter Amaya of Sanford, Jerrilynn Burroughs and husband Jason of Vass, Jennifer Belton and husband William also of Vass; grandmothers, Mildred Hodge of Michigan and Samanant Bell and husband James of Cameron; aunt, Shannon Yarborough and husband Carl of Sanford; uncle, Richard Hodge of Michigan; cousin, Stevie Briley, husband Pete and son Mason of Sanford and many other uncles, aunts, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronnie Hodge who also served in the U.S. Navy.
