Virginia Lamb

Virginia Donaghy Lamb, age 81, of Vass, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Virginia was born in Maine on May 8, 1936 to the late John and Mary Donaghy.  She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Cindy Archibald of Vass, Tammy McDonald also of Vass, Ed McDonald of South Carolina, Jimmy McDonald and John McDonald both of Raleigh; step-daughters, Debbie Carpenter and Susan Persino both of West Virginia; sister, Alice Mason of Maine, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
