Joe Hannon

Joe Hannon, age 67, of Goldston, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at his home, with family by his side.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bruce Frye and Joey Green officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Joe was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina on November 2, 1950 to William and Mamie Hannon.  Joe spent his working career as an electrical contractor but the most exciting event in his life was he became a Christian just recently and wanted to share his faith with everyone he met.  Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela Hannon; son, Christopher Hannon of Southern Pines; brother, David Hannon of Pinehurst.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mamie Hannon; brother, Jerry Hannon.
