Lawrence Timothy Munson

Lawrence Timothy Munson, age 54, of Cameron passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dave Kenny officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Larry was born in Fayetteville, North Carolina on May 24, 1963 to Robert And Elizabeth Munson.  He spent his working career as a self-employed farmer, sheriff’s deputy and security guard at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital. He was kind and soft-spoken and always had time to solve a problem, or help someone in need no matter how small. We can proudly say that Larry made a lasting impression on everyone he met, that is what his family and friends will remember most. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tracy Munson; mother, Elizabeth Munson; daughter, Sam Labbe; sister, Deborah James; brother Martin Munson; grandchildren, Riley and Melanie.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Munson.
