Leland Schatzley, Jr.

Leland Earl Schatzley, Jr, age 72, of Carthage, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at his home, surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, December 10, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Brown and Pastor Tom Everette officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Funeral Home.

Lee was born in Lafayette, Indiana on March 29, 1945 to the late Leland Earl and Betty Lou Rouc Schatzley. He worked as a Computer Technician, enjoyed playing video games and really enjoyed fishing. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Jane Harvey Schatzley; son, Mike Atwell (Lee Anna) of Indiana; sister, Barbara Schatzley of Indiana; grandchildren, Caitlin Johnson, Daniel Atwell, Kristal Johnson.
