Lisa Lane Thomas

Lisa Gail Lane Thomas, age 46, of Sanford, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Central Carolina Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at Cox Memorial Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Pineywood Baptist Church with Pastor Paul McClure, Pastor David Yarborough and Pastor Jimmy Settle officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Lisa was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina on January 29, 1973 to William David and Virginia Spivey Lane. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her parents, William David and Virginia Spivey Lane of Cameron; children, John Michael Thomas and Jordan Thomas both of Sanford; long time boyfriend, Eric Johnson of Sanford; stepchildren, Gracie and Colton Johnson; brothers, George Lane (Amy) of New Hill and Steven Lane of Cameron; granddaughter, Parker Lane Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, William David Lane, Jr. and Danny Ray Lane.
