Victoria Blackburn Medlin

Victoria Blackburn Medlin, age 62, of Cameron, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Vickie was born in Moore County on September 17, 1956 to William Blackburn and Vivian McMillian Blackburn. She was the light of her family’s life and was an inspiration to everyone around her. Vickie touched the lives of many people with her smile and generosity, throughout her short, yet very memorable life. She was a loving wife, mother, aunt, and friend and will be truly missed. We love you forever.

She is survived by her husband of 22 years, James “Jimmy” Medin; mother, Vivian Blackburn; son, Mel Medlin of Cameron, daughter, Amber Medlin Glover (Michael) of Eagle Springs; sisters, Teresa Cummings of Carthage, Ann Beatty of southern Pines, Charlotte Black of Whispering Pines; brother, Billy Blackburn of Vass.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Blackburn and a brother, Mel Blackburn.
