James Alan Starling

James Alan Starling, age 18, of Vass, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2020.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 6 until 8 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home in Vass.

James was born in Moore County on February 9, 2002 to Michael and Charity Honeycutt Starling. He loved fishing and building things with his hands. He was a very caring and loving son who will be forever remembered for his wonderful smile. He will be missed by his family and all those who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, James is survived by two sisters, Justine Honeycutt and Makayla Starling; brother, Michael Starling, III; grandparents, Allen and Connie Honeycutt, Michael and Brenda Starling, Carla and Tim Draffin; great-grandmother, Delphia Honeycutt.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Frank Honeycutt.
