L. B. Horne, Jr.

L. B.  “Cooter” Horne, Jr., age 55, of Lakeview, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Cox Memorial Funeral Home from 6 until 8 and other times at the home.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 4:00 p.m at Johnson Grove Cemetery in Vass.

L. B. born in Moore County on January 30, 1965 to the late L. B. Horne, Sr. and Joann Campbell Horne. He was a simple man and made time for anyone in need of help. An avid hunter and fisherman a hard working man of his word and believed in doing what was right by others. He was a loving husband, father, papa, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend. He was a father figure to many and always made everyone feel welcome. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Glenda Ryals Horne; mother, Joann Campbell Horne; Leslie Parker (Barry), Holly Horne, Jacob Horne (Courtney); sister, Vicky Cox; brother, James Horne; sister/brother-in-laws, Sylvia Ryals Jones, Chris Jones, Joann Ryals Rivera, Melissa Kirby, Jamie Ryals, John Ryals, Zeb Cox, Tammy Horne, Brandi Ryals; grandchildren, Marshall (Corbin), Harmony, Olivia, Eli, Heidi, Blake; nieces, Kacie, Crystal, Brooklyn, Selena, Deanna, Aries; nephews, Shane, Cody, Ethan, Gage, Brandon, John, James, Caleb, Jonathan, Adrian Elliott.
