Nellie Grace (Caddell) Ring

Nellie Grace Caddell Ring, age 84, of Carthage, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at New Home Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Trey Martin and Pastor Don Edwards officiating.

Nellie was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina on August 16, 1936 to the late Irvin Joe and Thelma McNeill Caddell. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her son, Joey Lynn Ring, sister, Johnsie Calcutt and brother, Irvin Odell Caddell.

She was a lifetime resident of Moore County and spent her working years as a local farmer. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Samuel William “Billy” Ring; sons, Donald Ring (Lynda) and Dale Ring (Vicki) both of Carthage; brother, Bobby Caddell of Carthage; grandchildren, Adam, Andrew, Samantha and Emma; great grandchildren, Chandler, Joey, Garrett and Logan.
