Wayne Thomas Sanders

Wayne Thomas Sanders, age 77, of Vass, passed away on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at his home, with his family by his side.

Wayne was born in Onslow County on December 6, 1943 to Arthur Sanders and Mary Parker Sanders. He spent his working career as a truck driver and mechanic. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kathy Moore; children, Mike Sanders of South Carolina, Cindy Sanders, Carol Honeycutt both of Spout Springs, David Kennedy of Cameron and Ronnie Sanders also of Cameron; sisters, Charlotte, Margaret and Elda; brother, Johnny Sanders; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
