Beatrice Thomas Parker

Beatrice Thomas Faulk Parker, age 88, of Sanford, went to her Heavenly Home on Friday, June 28, 2019 at Westfield Rehab & Health Center in Sanford.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at East Sanford Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Gibson and Rev. Bob Yandle officiating.  Burial will follow in Shallow Well Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Bea was born in Broadway, North Carolina on October 5, 1930 to Joe Thomas and Myrtle Holt Thomas.  She was a faithful member of East Sanford Baptist Church. Her achievements in life were numerous but she will be remembered as a woman of God who dearly loved her family.  Bea was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her children, Earnest J. Faulk (Joyce) of Sanford, Charles R. Faulk also of Sanford, Ricky C. Faulk (Diane) of Cary, Gail Faulk Cox  (Ronnie) of Sanford; stepsons, Ronnie Parker and Nick Parker both of Raleigh; sisters, Alma Faulk of Sanford, Cherry Lumley of Florida, Marie Taylor of Florida, Joanne Jenkins of Cameron, Jean Brown of Broadway and Pat Ulam of Foxfire; brother, Billy Joe Thomas of New Hill; grandchildren; Sherri, Joey, Angela, Tony, Christy, Craig, Michelle, Mike and Greg and a host of great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack F. Faulk and Rudy Parker.
