Bonnie Mitchell Hilliard, age 61, of Carthage, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her family.
Bonnie was born in Norfolk, Virginia on September 26, 1957 to Millard Mitchell and Claudette Mitchell Sykes. She had a loving and generous heart, and was always giving to others. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin Pate (Gene) of Carthage, Meghan Sykes (Shane) of Timberlake; mother, Claudette Sykes; sisters, Donna Dorton of Roxboro, Patty Nipper of Mebane; brothers, Garry Mitchell and James Mitchell both of Ocean Isle Beach; grandchildren, Jessica, Hannah, Hunter and Cydney.
She was preceded in death by her husband; father, Millard Mitchell and sister, Brenda Mitchell.
Services will be held at a later date.
