Conley Chavis Obituary
Conley Delane Chavis, age 65, of Sanford, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2019 at his home, surrounded by his family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the home of his brother, Jerry Driggers, 501 Great Dane Road, Sanford, NC 27330.
Conley was born in Marlboro County, South Carolina on January 27, 1954 to Howard Driggers, Jr. and Shirley Chavis Driggers. He was a loving father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his daughter, Mary Ann Chavis, Laurinburg; sisters, Hilda Yarborough of Cameron, Pattie Bosch of Myrtle Beach and Barbara Byrd of Vass; brothers, Jerry Driggers and Howard Driggers both of Sanford; three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Mandy Lynn Chavis; sister, Vickie Cameron; brothers, Ted Driggers and Randy Driggers.
