Danny Keith Richardson

Danny Keith Richardson, age 63, of Cameron, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Cameron United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Altman officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service in the church fellowship hall.

Danny was born in Virginia on December 15, 1954 to Author Richardson and Letha Jerrell Gilbo.  He served on the Board of Directors for Cypress Pointe Fire/Rescue and Cameron Fire Dept. before it became Cypress Pointe.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching drag racing. He also coached youth baseball but most of all he loved his pets. He gave many years of service to his community. Danny will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Cathy Richardson; son, Jonathan “Jono” Richardson of Cameron; sister, Martha Livingston of Texas; brothers, Tommy Richardson (Sandra) of Cameron, David Richardson (Kathy) of Sanford and his two furry friends, Charity Faith and Summer Love.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Author Richardson and Letha Jerrell Gilbo and a sister, Rebecca Coe.

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of Danny’s caregivers.
