Emily Rebecca Hamilton

Emily Rebecca Hamilton, age 33, of Pinehurst, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at New Covenant Fellowship Church in Carthage with Pastor Lee McKinney officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the church.

Emily was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina on January 2, 1985 to Tony Lee Hamilton and Paula Sandy.  Emily touched so many people throughout her short, yet very memorable life and we will forever remember that contagious smile and shy laugh with her beautiful dimples. She had such a sweet, tender and compassionate heart, not only for her family and friends but also for people in general. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her mother, Paula Sandy of Carthage; father, Tony Lee Hamilton of Cameron; children, Dylan Hamilton of Carthage, Delana Hamilton of South Carolina and Lisa Hamilton of Carthage; sisters, Toni Hamilton Wigglesworth (Alan) of Scotland and Stephanie Howell of Carthage; brother, Joshua Eldon Hamilton of Raleigh and a nephew, Henry David Wigglesworth of Scotland.
