Janice Bias Obituary

Janice Ann Bias, age 93, of Southern Pines, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at FirstHealth Hospice House, surrounded by her family.

Janice was born in West Virginia on April 28, 1925 to the late Henry and Jane Mann. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Forrest Bias. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her sons, David Bias (Dawn) of Pinehurst, Lawrence Bias of Maine; grandchildren, Joanna Scott (Tony) of Greensboro, Janna Hoolopa (Debbie) of Georgia, Eric Bias and Ryan Bias; great-grandchildren, Avery Scott, Griffin Scott and Maggie Scott.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FirstHealth Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.

Services will be held at a later date in West Virginia.
