Mina Ruth Riggsbee

Mina Ruth Riggsbee, age 76, passed away on June 4, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Christian Church Cemetery in Vass with Pastor John Brown officiating.

Mina was born in Dunn, North Carolina on January 29, 1943 to Preston Henry and Ada House Haire. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Mina was a loving, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Hasty Riggsbee, Jr. (Glenda) of Sanford; sisters, Margie Monroe and Judy Krause both of Vass; brother, James Haire (Gerry) of Vass; grandchildren, Joshua Lee Riggsbee, Joseph Glenn Riggsbee, Billy Hasty Riggsbee , Samantha Woods, Deborah Woods, Amber Jackson; seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sons, Carl Glenn Riggsbee and Vernon Bradley Riggsbee; brother, Thomas Ray Haire; grandchild, Alan Bradley Riggsbee.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Pleasant Christian Church, 4460 Lobelia Road, Vass, NC 28394.
