Ronnie Lee Ring

Ronnie Lee Ring, age 61, of Vass, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at his home.

A visitation will be held at Cox Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 6 until 8 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Open Arms Community Church with Pastor John Brown officiating. Burial will follow in New Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

Ronnie was born in Lee County on August 10, 1956 to Bundy and Gladys Ring.  He spent his working career in the pine straw business.  He had a wonderful smile that could light up a room. He maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife, Miriam Ring; children, Stephanie Leigh Wood and fiancé Jerel Woodall of Carthage, Holly Elise Ring of Raleigh, Thomas Haywood Ring of Vass sisters, Doris Whitaker and husband Gene of Vass, Betty Womble also of Vass; brother, Lloyd Ring and wife Vickie of Vass; grandchildren, Paxton Ivan Nash, Noah Ian Fitch and Charles Avery Woodall and his two four-legged children, Elsa and Beau..

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bundy and Gladys Ring; sister, Carolyn Blue; brothers, Clarence Ring and Jimmy Ring.
