William Maxwell Obituary

William Lee Maxwell, age 68, of Cameron, passed away on Monday, July 30, 2018 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Greg Poplin officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

William was born in Florida on July 18, 1950 to William D. and Clara Louise Maxwell. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Susan Maxwell; children, Michelle Cuilla (Eric) of Whispering Pines and Shane Maxwell (Becky) of Florida; grandchildren, Christopher, Brittany, Miranda, Allen and Kaylynne; great-grandchildren, Isabella, Aiden, Maddox, Myah and Cayden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William D. and Clara Louise Maxwell, and a sister, Sharon Sosa.
