Ada Melinda (Harney) Horner

Ada “Melinda” Harney Horner, age 67, of Greensboro, formerly of  West End, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 13, 2024 at Maple Grove Health and Rehab in Greensboro, NC.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Melinda was born in Cumberland County on November 23, 1956 to the late Clarence & Agnes Wilson Harney.  She was a loving Mother, Grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Godfrey of Omaha, Nebraska and Claire Brown of Nebraska; son, Christopher Boyette (Jackie) of Southern Pines; grandchildren, Christopher, Shelby, Caroline, Peyton, Lea, Jennings, Jakob, Erik, Zella, Alexis, and step-grandchildren, Kallie and Colby.
