Barbara Alice Turner

Barbara Alice Turner, age 84, of Carthage, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1 until 2. Burial will follow in Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage.

Barbara was born in Clay, West Virginia on May 22, 1938, to the late Lovell Carlton Hamrick and Goldie Hughes Hamrick.

She is survived by her husband, Elton Clarke Turner; five children and twelve grandchildren.
