Barbara Lynn White, 64, a resident of Carthage, passed into eternal rest on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at FirstHealth Hospice House, with her family by her side.
Born in Richmond County on December 22, 1958, Barbara was the daughter of the late Theodore White, Sr. and Lillian Ussery White. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Lee White, and her brother, Teddy White.
Known for her loving nature, Barbara was a cherished mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her absence will be deeply felt by those who knew her.
Barbara is survived by her son, David White, and his wife Katie White, who reside in GA; her two grandchildren, Alex and Sophie White; her sister, Gloria Lefler of Mt. Gilead; sister-in-law, Jane White of Robbins as well as her nieces Ronda, Vicki, and Cassie, and nephews Tim and Roy.
A private memorial service to honor Barbara's life will be arranged at a later date. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
