Billy J. Leonard Whitt

Billy J. Leonard Whitt, age 60, of Carthage, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his family.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 2:00pm at Cameron Community Cemetery with Pastor John Brown officiating.

Billy was born in Lee County on February 8, 1962, to the late Coy Leonard and Hattie McMillian Whitt. He served his country in the National Guard and was a loving brother, uncle and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his significant other, Leslie Brown; sisters, Opal Barton and husband Gene of Carthage and Irene Payne of Sanford and many nieces and nephews.
