Brandon "Blue" Phillip Gwyn

Brandon Phillip “Blue” Gwyn, age 31, of Virginia, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, surrounded by his loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2:00pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Teddy Rabon and Pastor Gregg Newton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1 until 2.

Blue was born in Pinehurst on April 19, 1990 to Laura Gwyn. He loved to do sign language, especially to songs in church and sharing about Jesus and reading his bible. He loved God with all his heart. Blue enjoyed the beach, always would say it was peaceful and felt the Lord there, also loved going to the lake and taking nature walks and eating his favorite food, pizza. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially when his sister Brittney and Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Billy came up to visit. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Laura Gwyn of Virginia; step-father, Danny Gwyn also of Virginia; sisters, Brittney Nicole Gwyn of Sanford, Bridget Gwyn of Virginia; step-brother, Daniel Gwyn of Carthage.
