Cathy Darlene (Wright) Harper

Cathy Wright Harper, age 73, of Aberdeen, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at her home, with family by her side.

Cathy was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina on August 22, 1952, to the late Julian Wilson and Mildred Riley Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Sheree Richardson, Gloria Wright, brother, Gary Wright.

She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend, Cathy will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband, Denzil Harper; children, Gerald (Scooby) Carlyle of Cameron, Chris (Dusty) Carlyle of Aberdeen, Cindy Stubbs of Aberdeen, Johnny Harper of Aberdeen; sister, Ann Marshall; brothers, John Wilson, James Wilson, David Wilson; fifteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Services will be private.
