Cathy Annette (Bowman) Williams

Cathy Bowman Williams, age 63, of Sanford, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at her home.

A Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, at 2:00 pm at East Sanford Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Gibson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 1 until 2. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Cemetery.

Cathy was born in Sanford, North Carolina to the late Henry Bowman and Mary Elizabeth Bowman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, H.L. Williams. She enjoyed working in her yards, going to the beach and mostly spending time with her son and grandchildren. She will forever be remembered.

She is survived by her son, Marcus Williams, of Sanford; grandchildren, Marshal Williams and Rylee Williams; brothers, Gary Bowman and Donald Bowman (Carolyn) both of Sanford and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
