Charles Robert Faulk

Charles Robert Faulk, age 72, of Sanford, NC, passed away on Friday, June 17, 2022, in early a.m. at the Durham VA Hospital after battling pancreatic cancer, the effects of chemo treatments and surgery for 2 yrs.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Cox Memorial Funeral Home from 6 until 8.

A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at 11am at Shallow Well Church Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

Charles was born in Lee County on December 16, 1949, to the late Jack Floyd Faulk and Beatrice Thomas Parker.

Charles was a retired Army Veteran. He was very patriotic and instilled the same values into his children. He raised two of his children on his own while serving the last 5 yrs. of his military career before he retired and moved back to Sanford to raise them as civilians. His love for his children and grandchildren was known throughout the county. He was quick to brag on all of them. He would always say hi to everyone and he was well respected in the community. He is loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him. He was his children’s very own hero.

He is survived by his children, Charles “Chris” Faulk of Sanford, Angela Faulk Hinkle (Robert) of Goldston, Anthony “Tony” Faulk (Amanda) also of Sanford; grandchildren, Dallas Faulk, Alexis Earley, Joshua Earley, Holly Faulk, Ethan Hinkle, Noah Hinkle, Anthony “Sage” Faulk, Memphis Faulk and Dominic Faulk; brothers, Ernest Faulk (Joyce) of Sanford, Ricky Faulk (Diane) of Cary; sister, Gail Faulk Cox (Ronnie) of Sanford.
