Charles Henry Garner, Sr.

Charles Henry Garner, Sr., age 73, of Olivia, passed away on Friday, November 26, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by his family.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 3, 2021 at Cox Memorial Funeral Home from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m.

Charles was born in Lee County on July 25, 1948 to the late Jasper Pete and Mazelle Brewer Garner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Joann Haywood, Ruth Garner and Athlene Carrillo, brothers, Ervin Garner, Mike Garner and Bobby Garner.

Charles enjoyed tinkering on old cars and watching old westerns on the television but most of all enjoyed being with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Garner and son Charles “Chuck” Garner, Jr. both of Olivia, a furry friend, Baby Shell and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
