Corey Anthony Wood

Corey Anthony Wood, age 30, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024, at his home.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 12:00pm at Pineywood Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Lutz officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church from 11 until 12.

Corey loved playing video games and spending time at the beach, but most of all he loved spending time with family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Corey was born in Pinehurst, North Carolina to James Anthony Wood and the late Bambi Britt Wood. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Roy Edward Britt.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his sister, Darian J. Wood of Moore County; brother, Shannon Christopher Pratt of Asheville, North Carolina; paternal grandparents, Jim and Diane Wood of Whispering Pines; maternal grandmother, Betty Britt of Robbins.
