Deborah Delores (Garner) Morgan

Deborah Garner Morgan, age 68, of Whispering Pines, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, surrounded by her family.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at Cox Memorial Funeral Home from 6 until 8.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Gregg Newton officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.

Deborah was born in Sanford, North Carolina on May 1, 1955 to the late William Marion Garner, Jr. and Evelyn Kennedy Garner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Forrest Morgan, Sr., brother, Jerry Garner.

She is survived by her children, Jerry F. Morgan, Jr. (Michelle) of Rocky Point, North Carolina, Melissia Morgan of Hamlet, Jason Morgan of Whispering Pines; grandchildren, Jerry, Ethan, Brennan, Michael, Corey, William, Jasmine; sister, Linda Garner Hardy of Lillington; brothers, Harold Garner and Eugene Garner.

Deborah loved the Lord and loved people, but most of all but she loved her family dearly and would drop all to ensure that her kids and grandkids were taken care of at all costs.  She was a very selfless person, putting all others, friends and family, before her own needs or wants.
