Dian (Richardson) Johnson

Dian Richardson Johnson, age 62, of Cameron, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 6pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Glenn Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Dian was born in Lee County on January 6, 1960, to the late Mack Oliver Richardson and Evelyn Baker Richardson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Johnson, sisters, Carolyn Wilson and Barbara Eder, granddaughter, Destiny Gladden.

Dian enjoyed spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and reading and studying her bible. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Adam Johnson (Melynda) of Broadway, Marsha Johnson of Spring Lake, Barbara McNamara of King, NC; brothers, Eugene and Billy Richardson; grandchildren, Alisa, Mason, Timothy, Brittany, Taylor, Hailey, Addison, Addilyn, Annistyn and Ainsley; great-grandchildren, Austin and Onyx.
