Diana Lynn Kennedy

Diana Lynn Kennedy, age 67, of Aberdeen passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston Salem with her family by her side.

A Celebration of Life, with casual dress, will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, at 11:00AM at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Vass with Pastor John Brown officiating.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 10:00-11:00AM.  Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery in Aberdeen.

Diana was born in Germany on March 20, 1958, to Rosa Susan Miller Kennedy and the late Elwood Earl Kennedy, Sr. 

She is survived by her sisters, Deborah Berger of Aberdeen, Dee Davis (Robert) of Aberdeen, Wanda Currie (Gerald) of Aberdeen; brothers, Earl Kennedy, Jr. of Aberdeen, David Kennedy (Maria) of Texas and her life partner of 35 years, Mitchell Odom of Aberdeen.

Diana loved all kinds of flowers and plants and enjoyed gardening and canning.  She loved her family and friends and was very close to each and every one of them and always enjoyed being around her nieces and nephews.  Diana was well loved and will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
