Donald Kenneth Jackson

Donald Kenneth Jackson, age 79, of Hamlet, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2022, at Pinehurst Health & Rehab, surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 2PM at First Presbyterian Church in Hamlet.

Donald was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on March 21, 1943, to the late David Paul and Irene Cole Jackson.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. His achievements in life were numerous but he will be remembered as a man of God who loved everyone, and everyone loved him as well. He served in many capacities at First Presbyterian Church in Hamlet. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sara Graham Jackson; children, Pamela Renee Jackson-Brunet (Faith) of Texas, Jeffrey Scott Jackson (Hope) of Rockingham, Kelli Ferguson (Scott) of Cameron; brother, Paul Jackson (Sally) of Pennsylvania; granddaughter, Aubrey Rose Ferguson

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donald Jackson may be sent to First Presbyterian Church, 200 Rice St, Hamlet NC 28345 and Richmond County meals on wheels.
