Dorothy Fay (Adkins) Daggett

Dorothy Fay Adkins Daggett, age 87, of Goldston, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at FirstHealth Moore Regional surrounded by her family.

Dorothy was born in Cabell County, West Virginia on May 20, 1936 to the late Paul Adkins and Gladys Lawson Adkins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Daggett; son, William “Billy” Daggett; brothers, Donald Adkins, Bruce Adkins, Jessie Adkins and Carl Adkins; sister, Delores “Bunny” Adkins Bratcher.

She is survived by her daughters, Joella Meszaros (David) of Cameron, Laura Dunlap (Rex) of Putnam and son, Morris Daggett (Tina) of Goldston, ten grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Graveside Service will be held on Friday, June 16, 2023, at 11:00am at Buffalo Cemetery in Sanford with Pastor Yonas Badi officiating.
