Edith Marie (Sheffield) Williams

Edith Sheffield Williams, age 75, of Cameron, passed away on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 7:00pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jared McNeill officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home. Burial will be held on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Brookside Memorial Gardens in Alabama.

Edith was born in Alabama on October 19, 1946 to the late Emery J. and Mary Jo Sheffield. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Duane Eugene Williams; son, Edward Scott Anderson (Sandi) of Pinehurst, NC; step daughters, Lisa K. Kottke (Richard) of Florida and Kandy Williams of Tennessee; step son; Ron Williams (Celema) of Florida; sisters, Patsy Golson of Alabama and Diane Wood (Billy) of Alabama; brothers, Emery Sheffield (Sally) of Alabama and William Sheffield (Kathy) of Alabama; four grandchildren and five step grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to in memory of Edith Williams to Shriners Children Hospital.
