Elouise Kent (Horner) Crews

Elouise Crews of Southern Pines passed away on April 26, 2025.

She was born in Oxford, NC on December 8th, 1940 to Edward and Dorothy Horner.  She graduated from St. Mary's College in Raleigh, NC and also attended business school in Richmond, VA. She spent the majority of her career as a secretary and legal assistant.

She is survived by two sons, William Hunter Crews of Aberdeen and Alexander Penn Crews and wife Michelle and their sons Phineas, Oliver and Luca of Southern Pines and brother, James Horner and wife Jane of Dallas, Texas.

She was preceded in death by the father of her children William B. Crews Jr. and two older brothers Thurman and Clarke Horner. A loving and grateful family honors her memory.

A service of remembrance will be held at Penick Village Episcopal Chapel, in Southern Pines.
