Elton Clarke Turner

Elton Clarke Turner, age 90, of Carthage, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025, at St. Joseph of the Pines.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday June 21, 2025 at 4:00pm at Cross Hill Cemetery in Carthage with Military Honors.

Elton was born in New York on November 11, 1934 to the late Earl Benjamin Turner and Catherine Edmonds Turner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Barbara Alice Turner, brother, Earl Turner.

He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, Scott A. Turner of Florida, Susan Turner Hood of Texas, David C. Turner (Lori) of Tennessee; twelve grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
