Gary William Bowman

Gary William Bowman, age 74, of Sanford, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025, at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital.

A Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at 2:00pm at Jonesboro Cemetery in Sanford.

Gary was born in Sanford, North Carolina to the late Henry Battle Bowman and Mary Elizabeth Jackson Bowman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Gary Richard Bowman, sister, Cathy Bowman Williams.

He is survived by his, brother, Donald Ray Bowman (Carolyn) of Sanford; daughter, Jennifer B. Godfrey (Eddie); two grandchildren Joshua Godfrey (Brooke), Ashley Godfrey and three great-grandchildren, Zoey, Riley, Maisley; neice, Kelly Bowman; nephew, Marcus William (Kayla).
