George Wayne Caddell

George Wayne Caddell, age 73, of Vass, passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, with family by his side.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Grove Cemetery with Military Honors. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1 until 2.

Wayne was born in Sanford, North Carolina on May 26, 1948 to the late James Herbert and Bertha Key Caddell. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Wayne enjoyed fishing, hunting and tinkering with his cars and boats but especially enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. He was a kind hearted man who loved people and would do anything for anybody.

He is survived by his sons, Jason Caddell, Bruce Caddell both of Carthage and James Kiser of Pinehurst; wife, Katherine Kiser of Carthage; brother, James Herbert Caddell, Jr. of Kernersville; grandchildren, Laci, Kevin and Michael and a special cousin, John Francis Caddell (Terri) of Pinehurst.
