Grady Thomas McCrimmon

Grady Thomas McCrimmon, age 64, of Vass, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Southport, NC, surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Cox Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Booker and Will Bell officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Grady was born in Moore County on July 14, 1955 to Vernon Eugene and Cornelia McCrimmon.  He enjoyed anything to do with the outdoors especially hunting and fishing, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with his family. He has impacted the lives of so many. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend and will never be forgotten.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years; Patricia McCrimmon; children, Holly R. Roberts and husband Brian of South Carolina, Kelly E. Booker and husband Steve of Vass, Kathy C. Johnson and husband Dennis of Vass; Leslie C. Carson and husband Robert of Carthage; sisters, Dorothy Hicks of Vass, Ruth Jackson of Eastwood, Faye McCrimmon of Vass; grandchildren, Megan, Joshua, Caleb, Daniel, DeAnna, Mandalyn, Kodi, Rebecca, Tyler, Taylor, Emily, Justin, Kourtney and Camryn.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, Earl, Lester and Mitchell.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105 in memory of Grady McCrimmon.
