Harold Wayne Williams

Harold Wayne Williams, age 72, of Whispering Pines, passed away on Saturday, May 14, 2022, at FirstHealth Hospice House in Pinehurst, surrounded by his family.

A Graveside Service to celebrate Harold's life will be held Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Grandview Memory Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Hurley Shortt and Andrew Kegley officiating.  Friends may visit with the family at the Mausoleum Chapel from 10:30 A.M. until the hour of the service. 

Harold was born in Bluefield, West Virginia on February 21, 1950, to the late Robert Fry and Margaret Lambert Williams, Jr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Sue Williams, a son, Michael S. Williams. He enjoyed lifting weights, bowling and spending time with his furry friends, Bandit and Tucker. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Dawn Kegley (Andrew) of Whispering Pines; sister, Bonnie G. Shortt (Hurley) of Virginia; brother, Robert L. Williams (Lisa) also of Virginia; grandchildren, Jordan, Jayden, Jake and Josh.
