Harold "Bo" Perry Heasley

Harold “Bo” Perry Heasley, age 85, of Sanford, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Central Carolina Hospital.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 3:00PM at East Sanford Baptist Church with Rev. Robbie Gibson officiating.

Harold or “Bo” as his friends knew him was born in New Castle, Pennsylvania on June 23, 1938 to the late Harold A. and Lillian Cotton Heasley.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Joyce Heasley; stepdaughter, Cynthia Lawson Brand (Lee) of Broadway; stepson, Timothy Lawrence Lawson of Sanford; grandchildren, Lainey (William), Joshua (Gabby), Kaylee and Mason; great-grandchildren, Alexi and Lily; three sisters and one brother.

Harold proudly served his country in the US Army with over 20 years of service, serving one tour in Korea and three tours in Vietnam.
