Harold "Dale" Delton Marks, Jr.

Harold Delton “Dale” Marks, Jr., age 63, of Cameron, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023, at his home, surrounded by his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 2:00pm at Faith Baptist Church 824 Claude White Road, Cameron, NC with Pastor John Brown and Pastor Bob Schwartz officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at the church.

Dale was born in Gaston County on March 29, 1960, to Vera Freeman Marks and the late Harold Delton Marks, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brothers, Gregory K. Marks and Randall Scott Marks.

Dale was an avid cat lover he would feed over 20 cats per day at the recycle center. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. 

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 28 years, Barbara Marks; son, Cameron Dale Marks of Sanford, daughter, Barbara Grace Marks; sister, Melinda Cross of Sanford; brother Marshall Ray Marks and wife Linda of Cameron.
